Forest Park Methodist Church will begin watching “The Chosen” TV series starting at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13.

The popular television series is a fictionalized account of the calling and development of the disciples. It is true to the teachings of Jesus, but uses imagination to flesh out the portrayal of the characters we’re familiar with from the Bible (and a few invented characters) to help make the material relatable to our lives.

Anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to see it yet, or would like to watch it again, is invited to watch it at 4:30 p.m. each Sunday Sept. 13-Nov. 8.

We will watch the video in the sanctuary, followed by discussion in the Fellowship Hall.
