A prayer for Forest Park*

Lord God,

I come to you in sincere prayer with thanksgiving in my heart. Forgive my sin and cleanse my heart.

I praise your name and ask your will be done through me and through this church. Grant me the drive to make disciples of Jesus Christ and spread scriptural holiness across my world.

Empower me and Forest Park Methodist Church through your Holy Spirit to no longer be our own, but yours; set us to doing what you would have us do and loving who you would have us love, bringing them the Good News of salvation.

Remove my self-will and replace it with surrender to your Holy Spirit in all things.

In the name and authority of Jesus Christ,

Amen

*Church members are asked to include this in your daily prayer time. Others are invited to use the prayer either for Forest Park or for your own church.
